Warranty Policy
At Pinecone Miner, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-performance cryptocurrency mining hardware. This Warranty Policy explains the terms, coverage, and procedures applicable to all Pinecone Miner products. By purchasing or using our hardware, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Warranty Period
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all Pinecone Miner ASIC mining products are covered by a 12-month limited hardware warranty, beginning on the date the product is delivered to the customer.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects that occur under normal and intended use during the warranty period, including:
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Hardware failures not caused by external or user-induced factors
- Component malfunctions occurring within stated operating specifications
If a covered defect is confirmed, Pinecone Miner will repair or replace the product in accordance with Section 4 of this policy.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to damage, defects, or failures resulting from:
- Mishandling, physical damage, accidents, drops, or improper installation
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
- Overclocking, undervolting, incorrect voltage input, or power surges
- Exposure to moisture, water, smoke, conductive dust, corrosive environments, or extreme temperatures
- Burn marks, PCB damage, short circuits, or evidence of misuse
- Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (including fans, cables, and thermal materials)
- Operation outside the product’s recommended environmental or electrical specifications
- Damage incurred during return shipping due to improper or insufficient packaging
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
4. Warranty Claim Process
Step 1: Contact Support
To initiate a warranty claim, contact our support team at:

Step 2: RMA Authorization
If your claim is approved, Pinecone Miner will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with return instructions.
Step 3: Return the Product
- Products must be securely packaged to prevent shipping damage
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing
- Shipping damage caused by improper packaging may void the warranty claim
Step 4: Inspection & Resolution
Once received, the product will undergo diagnostic testing. Based on the evaluation, Pinecone Miner may:
- Repair the defective unit
- Replace it with an equivalent product
- Offer an upgraded replacement (subject to availability and product lifecycle)
Repair and replacement timelines vary depending on parts availability and service workload.
5. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Mining revenue loss, downtime, or lost profits
- Software, firmware, or configuration-related issues
- Hashrate fluctuations caused by network difficulty, pool behavior, or environmental conditions
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Pinecone Miner makes no guarantees regarding mining profitability, return on investment (ROI), or future network conditions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Pinecone Miner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
- Total liability for any warranty claim is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product
- Mining hardware use involves inherent technical, operational, and financial risks assumed by the purchaser
7. Policy Modifications
Pinecone Miner reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on PineconeMiner.org.
